The people God puts into my life
Are not put there just to make a fool of me or them
Nor are they put there just to irritate and make me flustered
They are not put there for me to mutter under my breath at them
Nor are they put there because God wants to frustrate me—
Well in a sense, He wants to frustrate the hell out of me
He wants to fluster the hell out of me
He wants the hell out of me
The dross I have kept must be released unto Him
How can I do that?
How can I do that without the people God gave me?
Are they treasures?
Oh, most certainly, yes
Yes, yes, yes
Do not ever forget this
Go for the pure heart
It is worth it
The world will not fall away
And become the wisp of smoke the Holy Spirit blows away, otherwise
Know the truth
It is never outside us
It is how we react, not what happens to us that must be adjusted
Do NOT try to do this yourself
Go to God with all that is in you
And, with a contrite heart and a humbled Spirit
With tears that course down your cheeks
Release all to Him that He
Might adjust
YOU!
This is not what the world would have you do—
But who cares what the world wants us to do?
I don't
I'm not trying to please the world
I'm trying to please God
Giving it all to Him pleases Him
Jesus said, “What you do to the least of these, you do to Me”
He loves you so much, He gave you this person
That you might have everlasting life
Do not crucify Him
Not again
This is the message of this book
Jesus already overcame this world
Now, once again, He overcomes it
Only this time it is through each of us
As He is allowed to indwell in us
And, as He overcomes this world through us
He will use everyone around us
For they are whom God sent
Let's not misread the messengers God sends
But, instead let us, even joyfully, cry out to Him
And allow Him to adjust our souls and make us more like Him
Jesus overcomes this world through us
And He uses everyone around us to do this
And, as promised, He will be with us
Even until the end
Of the world
