Hi, Ol' Cartoon image of a scared cat.Silver

As we brought my wife's mother, Doris, back home to her mobile home, we discovered that her cat, Silver, had escaped. Doris suggested that Linda and I creep to the front of the trailer and make funny noises. This way, Doris reasoned, we could scare the cat back indoors.

We walked around the outside of the mobile toward the front, making funny noises. I peeked around to the patio and there was the cat, eyes darting this way and that. Silver leaped into the open door of the mobile home. As I moved away quickly, I saw this curious cat's head peek around to see what was frightening it.

Lord, help me keep my head while everyone around me thinks the world's appearances are real. God, help me become curious about Your Light and Love so that I might bring more of it into this world filled with curious cats (and people) who poke their heads into the night to see what's scaring them.
